MG Shooters LLC. has teamed up with world class instructors to offer a wide array of firearms training classes for 2017-2018.
Short Training Classes During Big Sandy Shoot
We will again be offering 30 minute classes by our instructors for $25 each.
Private one on one classes on Saturday:
These classes will be scheduled as to not conflict with matches and major shooting. Additionally, we are offering one-on-one hour long instructor led training for $60. The instructors will have canned lessons such as combat carbine, submachine gun, sniping, combat pistol or you can dictate the shooting/training session you wish to be trained in. These will fill up fast, please call and schedule your times. If you have any questions please feel free to call. General public spectators can join in these classes.
Introduction to the art of a Sniper
This class will cover numerous topics in developing and moving closer to understanding the skill sets needed to be a Sniper. In this class, each student will obtain the knowledge to properly understand and demonstrate proper marksmanship fundamentals as it pertains to a Sniper. Each student will be taught the basic skills of understanding minutes of angle, proper weapon fitting, weapon maintenance, ammunition selection, zeroing the Sniper rifle, extended range shooting, wind and mirage reading, camouflage, and alternative shooting positions. This is an 8 hour course that will have minimal breaks. Each student will truly be able to grasp realistic training and not just target shooting. This is a 200 round course. A gear list and syllabus will be given once registration has been completed.
The advanced art of a Sniper
This class may be taken once the student has completed the introduction to the art of Sniper class. This is an 8 hour course with minimal breaks and will require 250 rounds of ammunition. This class will cover in further detail alternative and extreme shooting positions, rapid deployments, multiple targets, extreme extended range deployments, stalking, and CQB with a Sniper rifle. Course dates TBD.
This is an 8 hour course and requires 240 rounds of ammunition. Students in this course will learn proper fundamentals of marksmanship as it pertains to the carbine. Topics to be covered include: defensive and offensive tactics in and out of your home, zeroing, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, magazine exchanges, malfunction clearance, extended range shooting, and alternative shooting positions. Course dates TBD.
Tactical Carbine in Chaos
This class may only be taken once the student has completed the Tactical Carbine class. This is an 8 hour course that requires 240 rounds of ammunition. This class will cover in further detail all of the topics in the Tactical Carbine course and will also include extended range deployments, close quarters shooting, weapon retention, and shooting while moving.
The advanced art of a Sniper
This class may be taken once the student has completed the introduction to the art of Sniper class. This is an 8 hour course with minimal breaks and will require 250 rounds of ammunition. This class will cover in further detail alternative and extreme shooting positions, rapid deployments, multiple targets, extreme extended range deployments, stalking, and CQB with a Sniper rifle.
This is an 8 hour course that requires 300 rounds of ammunition. This is not a target shooting course. This is learning to shoot your pistol in chaos. Students will obtain knowledge to properly demonstrate shooting fundamentals as it pertains to the pistol in a realistic environment. Each student will learn weapon selection, ammunition selection, stance, structural alignment, footwork, sight alignment, trigger control, reloading, malfunction clearance, draw and presentation, and shooting under pressure.
Tactical Pistol in Chaos
This class may be taken once the student has completed the Tactical Pistol course. This is an 8 hour course that requires 300 rounds of ammunition. This class will cover in further detail all the topics in the Tactical Pistol course and will also include shooting the pistol in close quarters, weapon retention, long distance with the pistol, alternative shooting positions, shooting on the move, and rapid deployments.
Techniques for deploying a submachine gun
This class will specifically target the use and application of a submachine gun. Understanding proper stance, shooting form, and application of the submachine gun. Students will be able to use their own weapon or be able to rent a submachine gun of their choice. This is a 350 round course that will last 8 hours. Students will also be exposed to different types of submachine guns and how to apply them to realistic scenarios.
Speciality classes or custom classes can be provided to you upon request. For an example, "offensive and defensive shooting from a vehicle"... Just let us know and we will design a custom class tailored to your needs.
